Our Day
The school gates open at 7.30 a.m. but the school day starts at 8.00 a.m.
To enable parents to manage any transport problems our arrival time is flexible.
The nursery children should all be in school by 8.45 a.m.

Waterplay |
The children are allowed to choose an activity as they arrive and settle down to work at that. It might be cutting, or painting, or play dough, or constructing.
The teacher gives individual attention to each child talking about colours, or counting a little or learning to hold a pencil.
9.00 Circle time.
9.30 Playtime outside with the teacher learning new games or how to climb and swing safely.
10.00 Numbers and letters, music and movement, art, handwork, poetry, stories.
10.45 Snack Time
11.00 Free play outside
12.00 Time to go home.

To enable parents to manage any transport problems the arrival time is flexible, but all should be in school by 8.30 a.m. On arrival each child is given an assignment on which to work so encouraging children to work on their own.
Teachers give individual attention to each child during this time. Hearing the children read, or testing spelling or phonic work or number bonds.
